I am Patrick Reuter –
Nature and bird photographer
with a passion for bird flight.
My enthusiasm for flying began in my youth with paragliding and wingsuit flying, and led me to bird photography. Training as an ornithologist deepened my knowledge of our feathered friends. On my photography trips and workshops, I share techniques, tips, and my experience so that we can capture unforgettable moments in nature together.

Costa Rica – Colorful wildlife
Immerse yourself in the magical world of wildlife photography and the breathtaking landscapes of Costa Rica. This small country in Central America is home to over 900 bird species and well over 1,000 reptile and amphibian species. You will photograph over 100 bird species in two weeks!

Hungary – Champions League of bird photography
In a beautiful, unspoiled area of Hungary, you will spend a week photographing beautiful birds from close range without disturbing them. On a farm in the southern plains of Hungary, we will be photographing from highly professional hides. From these, you can observe the birds during courtship or raising their young and photograph them from close range. Today, the farm is one of the most popular photography locations in Europe. We have over 20 different hides at our disposal, some of which are located near the water.

This leads to an increased number of water birds in our waters during the winter months. Among these guests, there are many beautiful creatures to discover and photograph.

Photographing birds in flight is undoubtedly the supreme discipline in bird photography. This challenge offers nature photographers the opportunity to capture the grace and dynamism of flying birds. By combining camera settings, technical tips, and lots of practical exercises, you will develop your skills and create unforgettable bird flight images.
