Patrick Reuter and bird photography

I have been fascinated by flying since I was a child. That's how my photographic career began in the air. I started paragliding at the age of 23 and later expanded my passion with skydiving and wingsuit flying - you can't get any closer to flying birds than that.
Today I enjoy the tranquillity of nature and photographing birds, preferably when they are flying. Bird photography has really deepened my connection with nature. I am even more mindful in nature, take a closer look at my surroundings and practise patience in order to take unique photos. My interesting training as an ornithologist gives me a deeper insight into the fascinating world of our feathered friends.
