I run various photo workshops and photo trips for Thomas Heitmar Photography. Registration and payment are handled via his portal. All course details, requirements, current prices, dates and availability can be found there.

Please note: In order not to disturb the birds in their natural habitat, the bird photography code of conduct of the Swiss Ornithological Institute and BirdLife Switzerland is strictly applied.

COSTA RICA - COLORFUL WILDLIFE

Immerse yourself in the magical world of wildlife photography and the breathtaking landscapes of Costa Rica. This small country in Central America is home to over 900 species of birds and well over 1000 species of reptiles and amphibians. You will photograph over 100 bird species in two weeks! Photo tour in cooperation with Thomas Heitmar Photography.

Waterfowl

Many waterfowl migrate in winter from their breeding grounds in the northern regions to warmer areas, including Switzerland. This leads to an increased number of waterfowl in our waters during the winter months. Among these guests, there is much beauty to be discovered and photographed. The photo workshop will take place in Thun, Gwatt in collaboration with Thomas Heitmar Photography.

Birds in flight for beginners

Photographing birds in flight is undoubtedly the supreme discipline in bird photography. This challenge offers nature photographers the opportunity to capture the grace and dynamics of birds in flight. Through a combination of camera settings, technical tips and lots of practical exercises, you will develop your skills and create unforgettable birds in flight images. The workshop takes place at the Birdlife Center La Sauge, Neuenbrugersee in collaboration with Thomas Heitmar Photography.
